Waxing
Waxing is the semi permanent removal of unwanted hair using warm wax and paper strips.
Most areas of the body can be waxed providing the hair is long enough (approx. 1/4 inch/1cm).
The wax is heated so it is of a runny consistency. It is then spread thinly in a downward
motion onto the area to be waxed using a wooden spatula.
A paper strip is then firmly pressed on to the wax and then quickly pulled off in the opposite direction to the hairs
growth. To reduce redness and remove stickyness afterwax cream is applied.
The treatment times vary according to the area being treated.
Waxing is usually carried out every 4-6 weeks.
